1. Who we are
This policy explains how F4Stream.com ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit the website, create an account, upload videos, contact us, or watch a video played by our player – on our own pages or embedded on another website. It is part of our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Account information. Your e-mail address, username and optional display name, your password (stored only as a one-way hash), your two-factor authentication secret and recovery codes (encrypted) and the time and IP address of your last sign-in.
Your content. The videos you upload or import from a link, and what you add to them: titles, thumbnails, subtitles, folders and player settings, plus the domains you register for embedding.
Usage of your account. A security log of important actions (sign-ins, password and e-mail changes, API tokens, withdrawals) with the IP address they came from. API tokens are stored only as a hash.
Payout information. The cryptocurrency wallet address you save for withdrawals and the history of your earnings, withdrawals and Premium orders. We never ask for card or bank details.
Support messages. What you write to us through the contact form or a ticket, the screenshots you attach, and the e-mail address we answer.
3. Viewers of videos
When someone watches a video, the player and our servers process:
- the viewer's IP address, to deliver the stream, to protect it with short-lived signed links and to count each viewer once;
- the country derived from that IP address, and whether it belongs to a VPN, proxy or Tor network (such views are not paid to the owner);
- the host name of the website the video was embedded on or linked from (the "referrer");
- whether an ad blocker is active, because ad-supported views are paid differently.
We store these figures only as totals per video, day, country and referring website – never a record of what an individual viewer watched. IP addresses used to count unique viewers are kept in memory for at most 24 hours and then forgotten.
4. Cookies and local storage
- Session cookie – keeps you signed in during a visit and protects forms against forgery. Strictly necessary.
- "Keep me signed in" cookie – only if you tick that box when signing in; keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
- Local storage of the player – small values such as the position where you stopped watching a video, kept in your browser only.
- Google Analytics – anonymous statistics of how our website is used (pages visited, device type, approximate location).
- Advertising – videos in the Earn mode show ads from third-party ad networks, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; without the session cookie you cannot sign in.
5. How we use your information
- to provide the Service: store, encode and stream your videos, and show you your statistics;
- to verify your e-mail address, secure your account and send you messages about it (password resets, ticket replies, payout updates);
- to calculate your earnings, detect fraudulent traffic and pay your withdrawals;
- to answer your questions and handle copyright and abuse reports;
- to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the Service, and only what they need:
- the hosting, storage and delivery servers that store your videos and stream them to viewers;
- our e-mail delivery provider, to send account and support e-mails;
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that forms such as sign-up and contact are used by people, not bots;
- Google Analytics, for website statistics;
- proxycheck.io, which tells us whether a viewer's IP address belongs to a VPN or proxy;
- OxaPay, the cryptocurrency payment gateway that processes Premium payments and withdrawals;
- advertising networks whose ads are shown in the player;
We also disclose information when the law requires it, to answer a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public or F4Stream.com. A copyright notice you send us may be forwarded to the uploader of the video concerned (see our DMCA Policy).
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords and API tokens are hashed, secrets such as two-factor keys are encrypted, playback links expire after a few minutes, and you can protect your account with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, however: please use a unique password and tell us at once if you notice anything unusual.
8. Data retention
- Account information is kept while your account exists.
- A video you delete is removed from the player immediately and erased from our storage after 7 days. Unwatched videos are deleted as described in the Terms of Service.
- The list of your imports from links forgets a finished entry after 24 hours.
- Daily view statistics, earnings and payout records are kept for accounting and fraud prevention, also after a video is deleted.
- Support tickets and security logs are kept as long as needed to help you and to protect the Service.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. In practice:
- you can change your display name, e-mail address and password, and delete any of your videos, at any time in your account;
- you can ask us for a copy of your data or for the deletion of your whole account through the contact form;
- you can block cookies and the analytics described above in your browser.
We answer such requests within 30 days. Some records (for example payouts) must be kept for legal reasons even after an account is deleted.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version; significant changes are announced on the website.
12. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, write to us through the contact form and choose the category "Account & sign-in".
